SPF, or Sun Protection Factor, is a measure/guide of how well a product will protect skin from the suns UV rays, the kind of radiation that causes sunburn, this is a guide that depends on skin type, intensity of sunlight and amount of product used.
SPF is a measure of protection from the amount of UV exposure and it is not meant to help you determine duration of exposure. The most important thing is to reapply your SPF product frequently especially after swimming or heavy perspiration.

COCOOIL only uses 100% Natural Botanical Oils which are more effective for producing a uniform and long-lasting film of sun protection on the skin, and their emollient properties protect & hydrate the skin against the drying effects of the sun, keeping your skin silky smooth.
Nearly all sunscreens are predominantly water-based and can quickly evaporate, leaving behind a film of sunscreen ingredients which can dry out your skin leading to premature aging and sun damage.
All COCOOIL’S SPF Products undergo stringent testing to the following Australian/New Zealand, FDA, EU & International standards and are approved in order to make a sun protection claim.
All COCOOIL’S SPF testing is conducted in Australia in a controlled highly skilled laboratory.
